where has all the good yoga gone? (pt 2)
Good Yoga #2
The email about good yoga set me (and many of you!) on fire. Thank you for your notes, questions, and ongoing conversation.
It inspired unpacking and updating common alignment cues during Office Hours. Here is some of what we covered:
how "sitting bones back" created a slew of hamstring attachment injuries and SI instability (and what to do instead).
why "tailbone down" doesn't work for a female pelvis and how to activate your pelvic floor without tucking under and flattening your lower back.
what happens after years of lifting and fanning your toes and how to find the balance you need in your feet.
Because everyone can benefit from this we posted the replay for the whole community. But don't wait to listen! It'll go in the Miracle Makers archive in a few weeks.
Have questions? Post them in the Office Hours section of the community.
May your practice stretch you,
Alison
