Slow down the [aging] avalanche
Aging Avalanche
In Yoga mythology, time (and aging) is associated with Shani (Saturn). Saturn is depicted as dry and rigid. He's the arbiter of karma, walks with a limp, and is known to be cruel.
Aging feels cruel sometimes. It's slow but sudden. Like an avalanche. Limiting but liberating. You feel more bound but more at home in your body. A great equalizer. Because everyone goes through it. And a truth-teller. About your habits, history, and priorities.
What tale does your body tell? Would you like more of a say in the story? Could you use more strength? More power at the very core of your body? More endurance in your muscles? More stability in your joints? More confidence in your bones?
This is what Asana Strong creates. A bold vision for aging powerfully. A connection to your core that is driven by your breathing. Knowledge to build better bone and maintain your muscle. Science-based strategies for increasing intensity and adding weight.
Enrollment opens tomorrow.

Review the Office Hours session on Yoga & Strength: Watch Now
Yoga tells us that Saturn rewards discipline and responsibility. Weaving strength into your asana practice is smart (and responsible). Yes, it takes some discipline, learning new skills and a few (cool) new tools, but the first thing students say? I wish I would have started this sooner...
This is NOT traditional gym stuff, it's also NOT a vanilla yoga flow with light hand weights. It's the best of yoga asana - body awareness, breath-based, smart progressive sequencing - coupled with cutting edge movement science.
Ready for strong?
May your practice be a work of art,
